He was the founder of the Ayyubid dynasty.

I came across this clip on YouTube while scrolling on the Shorts feed.

It stopped me from scrolling any more, it’s a scene from the film Kingdom to Heaven.

Where Bailian and Salah ad-Din are talking about terms for Bailians surrender of Jerusalem.

One of the terms is that Bailans people can leave without being harm.

Salah ad-Din accepts the terms, that Bailans people wouldn’t be harm.

Salah ad-Din mentions this to Bailian…

When Bailian reminds Salah ad-Din what the Christians did to the Muslims when they took the city…since he wants to make sure he keeps his word.

“I am not those men, I am Salah ad-Din…Salah ad-Din”

And it’s true!

Salah ad-Din kept his word.

And there is a lot you can learn from this conqueror.

When it comes to keeping your word.

If you keep your word as a creator people will trust you more.

Which is important these days.

A lot of creators they say one thing and don’t keep their word.
