comic con vendors taught me a lesson
Reading level: Grade 5
The one thing I learned from comic-con from going this past Saturday was…
Community
When I went with my little brother and his friends a friend in the group only had 1 goal.
To go buy from a certain vendor, that he had been buying from for years.
We went to the vendor and the artist just started to talk to him and ask my brother’s friend how he was and other questions.
The vendor/artist wanted to know more about his ‘customer’ or fan.
Why?
To build a community and a connection.
This is why probably that same friend will go next year to that vendor to buy another painting.
Because the vendor/artist cares about his customers.
And you can take this lesson and use it for yourself inside of X (Twitter).
When people are commenting to your post don’t just like the comment, but ask them a question if they commented and care since they are stopping to support you.
Did not know I could have learn something from comic-con.
See you tomorrow
Daniel
