I have 4 words for you…’Don’t sleep on Reddit’.

I recently started a local community newsletter for my city here in Ottawa, Canada. (My tiny side project - it’s keeping me busy)

One Reddit post, got me about 15+ subs which was my go ahead to send my first newsletter that same week.

I did it again the following weeks, and got about 60+ readers just from Reddit.

So when done right, it works!

I was hesitant to post on Reddit because the ‘mods’, they are a tough bunch who control what gets posted.

The first time I shared a post, it didn’t get approved.

The last few weeks now, have been tough where they’re not approving lots of my post - so I’m gonna have to try some other tactics.

**Even though the users from the sub-reddit want me to keep posting every week.

If you have a newsletter, doesn’t matter what type - you have to try to post on Reddit.
