“Gentlemen, gentlemen... I'll never understand..."

This movie scene gives me the chills every time.

It’s a movie starting Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt called Seven.

The scene is with Somerset (Morgan Freeman) goes to a library to learn more about the person they are trying to find.

In the library Somerset say’s these words to a group of security guards in the library playing poker…

“Gentlemen, gentlemen... I'll never understand. All these books, a world of knowledge at your fingertips. What do you do? You play poker all night.”

Man I got the chills again in my skin by reading that quote…

This quote fits well in today’s lesson.

At the moment you know I am learning copywriting by…

• Reading a lot of books.

• Watching a lot of Youtube videos.

• Taking courses.

I’m using my phone as tool to learn more instead of doom scrolling.

And that is what 99% of people do when they are on their phones…

They doom scroll.

Instead of using that device they have in their hand to learn more, they are the security guards in the library with knowledge in their fingertips they can learn anything but instead they are watching Shorts or Tiktok videos.

Don’t get me wrong I watch those videos as well, but in limited quantities where I would rather learn more than get distracted.

If you want to learn copywriting or any other skill use your phone as a tool to learn and not get lost in the weeds.
