I climbed a volcano 🌋

1 step at a time...

Reading level: Grade 0

Story time!

Early this year I went to Bitcoin country, El Salvador.

And one of the items on my todo list was to climb the Santa Ana Volcano the tallest mountain in the country.

Woke up at 4 AM. Got Breakfast. And arrived at the starting point to meet the guide.

We started the hike. The first 1st hour was pretty smooth, the trail was sand and soft for the feet, and we had tree’s covering us. In my mind, I was thinking this will be an easy hike to the top.

I was wrong…

The last 30-40 minutes of the climb to the top was the toughest part. No tree’s to cover us from the sun blaring down at us. No smooth trail for our feet, just rocks that were not stable to walk on.

I wanted to give up…

But I knew we were close. So I just started to repeat these words in my mind ‘one step at a time’.

Until we finally reached the top of the volcano.

I know what you’re thinking…

Great story Daniel.

But where is the lesson???

Here is it is…

Many of us start something and then for some reason we give up. And maybe if you showed up the next day you might have reached your goal.

But you would never know it because you stopped to early.

Remember to take it ‘one step at a time.’

Daniel ‘the climber’

P.S. Tomorrow’s email is about - what was waiting for us at the top and it wasn’t the view.
